She was predeceased by: her parents, Rudolph Kita, and Elizabeth Kita, Sr. (Ritter); her husband Edward F. Metzger; and her brother Rudolph Kita, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Christopher E. Metzger (Nancy) of Kilkenny, Donna L. Findley (Dennis) of Willow Street, PA., Eric C. Metzger (Anne) of Denver, PA., Elizabeth C. Hauk of Mount Joy, PA. and Michelle C. Henry (Chad) of Lancaster, PA; her grandchildren, Erica Metzger (Matthew Smith), Emily Sensenig (Kurt), Danielle Findley, Makayla Metzger, Devyn Findley (Merek Hilliker), Ryan Metzger, Madison Henry, Lauren Metzger, Edward Hauk and Colby Henry; her great grandchild Atlas Smith; her brothers, Richard Kita (Barbara) of Manheim, PA. and Robert Kita (Victoria) of St. Augustine, FL.; her sister-in-law Helen Kita of Wildwood, NJ.; and her nephew Jeffrey A. Kita. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Covenant House Pennsylvania, an organization that assists youth experiencing homelessness throughout Pennsylvania.
