She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry J. Gettys and Joyce E. Gettys (Starry); and her brother Kenneth Gettys. She is survived by: her husband Carl R. Umbrell, Sr.; her children, Melinda Rodriguez (John), Crystal Allen (Robert, Jr.) and Michael Whitzel; her stepchildren, Veronica Jackson (Kevin), Carl Umbrell, Jr. and Louis Umbrell (Jennifer); her siblings, Lloyd Gettys (Karen), Kathy Brown and Robert Gettys (Tracy); and her sister-in-law Karen S. Gettys. She is also survived by 16 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren.
