He was predeceased by: his parents, Katherine Lingle (Brightbill) and David Lingle; his son Daniel S. Lingle; and his sister Wendy Lingle. He is survived by: his wife Vicki L. Lingle (Strupp); his son Dale B. Lingle II; his siblings, Kimiko Knowles (Mike), Lloyd Lingle and Scott Lingle; his uncle Carl Lingle (Wendy); and his nieces and nephews, Cody, Dustin Knowles, Nicole Brandt (Shawn), Kevin Strupp (Emily), Brandon (Katie), Eric Kolakowski, Ryan, Megan and Nick Early.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Lebanon VA Medical Center, 1700 S. Lincoln Ave., Lebanon, PA 17042 or the Humane Society of Lebanon County, 150 N. Ramona Rd., Myerstown, PA 17067.
