She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Hess; her sister Eleanor Hayes; her daughter-in-law Ann; and her grandson Stephen. She is survived by: her children, Craig Hess, Vicki Gingrich (Tom), Sharon Sanfilippo (Peter) and Karl Hess (Beth). She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
