Naoma H. Whitmore Obituary
We are sad to announce that on October 12, 2020, at the age of 89, Naoma H. Whitmore of Analomink, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin L. Whitmore, Sr.; her parents, Charles Johnson and Nora Johnson (Beck); her granddaughter Tera Jean Whitmore; and her siblings, Raymond Johnson, Earl Johnson, Percy Johnson, John Johnson, Carole Sutton, Arlene Johnson, Arvonia Smith and Shirley Fehr.
She is survived by: her children, Franklin L. Whitmore, Jr. (Caroline), Terry L. Whitmore, Sr. (Charline) and Brenda Brown (Hal Serfass); her grandchildren, Heather Hartman, Kristy Vliet, Terry Lee Whitmore, Jr., Franklin L. Whitmore III and Rickey Lee Brown; her stepgrandchildren, Annissa L. Wilson, Jeanette A. Stauffer, Ann Hank and Edward Disbrow; her sisters, Wilhelmina Kroboth, Ethlyn Achenbach, Wintha Knitter and Marjorie Redshaw; and her sister-in-law Donna J. McNeal. She is also survived by 18 great grandchildren; seven great great grandchildren.
Due to current COVID health restrictions, the funeral home capacity is limited to fifty people; and friends and family are asked to follow CDC guidelines by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial remembrances be made to Analomink United Methodist Church, S.M.A. (Spinal Muscular Atrophy) Foundation, or to a charity of one's choice.
