With solemn reverence, we commemorate William J. Kopchick (Ambridge, Pennsylvania), whose life came to an end on January 27, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving behind cherished memories. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Kopchick and Anna Kopchick; and his siblings, Michael, Peter, Nick, Steve, Mary Kovalyak, Anne Chemsak, Helen Kosinski and Margaret Konarski.
He is survived by: his wife Sonia Kopchick (Popovich); his children, William (Deborah), Emily, Mary and Michael D. Kopchick; and his brother John Kopchick. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John Syka Funeral Home, Inc. (833 Kennedy Dr, Ambridge, PA 15003). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 at 2:30 PM at the National Cemetery of the Alleghenies (1158 Morgan Rd, Bridgeville, PA 15017).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to St. John's Orthodox Church, 450 Glenwood Drive Ambridge, PA 15003.
