He was predeceased by: his wife Betty May Akins; and his brother Bert Akins. He is survived by: his son Randy Akins; his daughter-in-law Lori Akins of Baden; and his daughters, Karen Goerman, Detroit, Mich, Lisa, Michal Longo and Ambridge.
