Rita Muckian Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rita Muckian of Ambridge, Pennsylvania, who passed away on January 27, 2021, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wolicki and Emily Wolicki (Iwaskiewicz); and her husband Martin J. Muckian. She is survived by: her brother Robert Wolicki (Peggy); her daughters, Maribeth Muckian (David Bates) and Leanne Gould (David); her grandchildren, Brendan Muckian (Hilary), Devon Gould (Robin), Alexandra Wilson (Jesse) and Lukas Gould; and her great grandchildren, Sophia, Aidan, Lyla and Madelyn.

Due to Covid-19, a private family service was held on Saturday at the John Syka Funeral Home.

“Maribeth and Leanne, I just learned of your mom’s passing and wanted to offer my deepest sympathies. My Christmas card was returned last Christmas and I was afraid something was wrong but just today found out. I was a good friend of your dad’s and after he died I tried keeping touch with your mom.
