He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Yope and Eleanor Yope (Duke). He is survived by: his children, Jennifer Do (Khanh) and Christopher Yope; his grandchild Madison Do; his siblings, Debra Stockdale (Charles), Raymond T. Yope, Edward Yope (Kathy) and John Yope; and his nephews, Eric (Amy) and Brian Yope (Emily).

In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts may be made in Rich's name to Good Samaritan Hospice.
