She was predeceased by: her husband Borys Chermak; her parents, Mychajlo Galadza and Theodosia Galadza; her siblings-in-law, William Hladio and Lydia Nichols (late Bronislaw); her son-in-law Joel Maksymowicz; her nephew-in-law Robert Pepersack; and her nephew Jonathan Brown.

She is survived by: her grandchildren, Vanessa Dillen (Laure), Nicholas Dillen (Bethany), Paul (Steph), Alexander Maksymowicz (Olivia), Natasha, Joshua, Olivia Rosenberg, Elena, Nina Chermak, Sofia, Ethan Beneroff, Elias and Gabriel Chermak; and her siblings, Orysia Hladio, Irene Galadza Brown, Deacon Paul Galadza (Valerie) and Peter Galadza (Olenka).
