She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur Post and Betty Van Horn Post; and her son David P. Brutout Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Charles Garis; her children, Christine Hradil (Lee), Eric Brutout (Heather) and Kathy James; and her siblings, Penny McClowry, Pamela Eggers and Ben Post. She is also survived by grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
