He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Zimmel and Mary J. Flanigan Zimmel; his wife Martha Zimmel (Taffy); and his brother David R. Zimmel. He is survived by: his daughters, Geniene Zimmel of Aliquippa and Erica Zimmel Zetz of Aliquippa; his grandchildren, Emmilia Zimmel (Anthony Taylor), Nicholas and Riana Zimmel; his great grandchildren, Zachary and Wyatt Taylor; his brother Martin; his sister-in-law Darlene Zimmel; and his sister Elaine Zimmel Powell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
