He was predeceased by: his parents, John Plesh and Frances Plesh; his wife Joan; his son Kirk; and his siblings, John, Lewis, Anne and Marge.

He is survived by: his sister-in-law Betty; his children, Gregg, Scott, Dawn and Doug; his grandchildren, Nicole, Michael, Kortni, James, Cody, Sarah, Abigale, Scott, Lucas, Drew and Christian; and his great grandchildren, Rita, Anthony, Logan, Zoey, Samuel, Lucas, Emma and Charlotte.

Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Shikany's Bonita Funeral Home (28300 S Tamiami Trail, Bonita Springs, FL 34134). A funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 2:30 PM at the Saint Leo the Great Catholic Church (28300 Beaumont Rd, Bonita Springs, FL 34134).
