He was predeceased by: his father Fleming Barto; his son Dale Barto; his brothers, Alvin and Warren Barto; and his uncle Daniel Barto.
He is survived by: his wife Jeanne Barto (Hanlon); his children, Debra Bones (Dennis) of Dublin, CA and Daniel Barto (Diane) of Baden; his daughter-in-law Lisa Barto of Cleveland, TN; and his grandchildren, Denise Fantone of Baden, Donna Giammatteo (Daniel) of Valencia, Daniel Barto of Rockledge, FL, Jordan Barto (Ariana) of Cleveland, TN, Edyn, Cooper Giammatteo, Jonathan Fantone and Sawyer Barto.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions are suggested to the New Hope Lutheran Church.
