She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Bratton and Roberta "Birdie" Berry Bratton; her husband Walter Kimbrough; her siblings, Henry Jr., Luther, Phillip Bratton, Carrie McIver and Georgella Williams; and her grandson Phillip "Meyi" Bratton.
She is survived by: her children, Philip Darnell (Pamela Bratton), Otis Sam Smith, Jamal "Mikee" (Kelly Williams), Roberta Wendy Allison and Lucille Candy Williams. She is also survived by 6 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and friends.
