She was predeceased by: her parents, John Grasmeder and Clotilda Grasmeder; and her husband John J. Steitz. She is survived by: her children, John Steitz (Laura Tandy) of Alexandria, VA, Theresa Wurzburger (Erik) of Telford, PA, Joseph Steitz (Holly Gratkowski) of Wayne, PA, Francis Steitz (Lucy) of Doylestown, PA and Maria Steitz-Jasper (Todd) of Hatboro, PA.; her brother John Grasmeder (Anne) of Warminster, PA; and her sister-in-law Helen Diebold (Eugene) of North Wales, PA.. She is also survived by eight loving grandchildren.

Ever since the Covid lockdown, Rosanne made sure to view the local Mass on TV every Sunday.

“Please accept my most sincere condolences on the loss of your mother, Roseanne Steitz. As principal of Myers Elementary School, I had the pleasure of hiring Roseanne. She was a "find" as a librarian, teacher, child's advocate and staff member. There was no one at Myers who did not appreciate Roseanne as a professional and a genuinely good person. Happily we reconnected when she came to work at Myers Elementary and continued seeing each other most months after retirement as part of the Myers Lunch Bunch.
