She was predeceased by: her husband Walter Hackler; her parents, Edwin Michelson and Edith Michelson (Horwitz); and her former husband Owen Akulin. She is survived by: her children, Terri Tabaac (Scott), Michael Akulin (Leslie), Lori Deussing Brown (Glenn), Bethany Hackler and Stephen Hackler (Karen); her grandchildren, Victor (Lauren), Lindsay, Grant, Cody, Sarah, Nicholas, Lisa (Ken), Lauren (Matthew) and Phillip (Amanda); her sister Deanna Michaelson (Jonathan); her niece Rachel; and her nephew Zachary. She is also survived by nine great grandchildren.
