It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frank Gambino Sr. (Ambler, Pennsylvania), born in Dresher, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 12, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Gambino and Florence Gambino. He is survived by: his wife Virginia Gambino; his children, Frank Gambino, Jr. (Ashley) of Grapevine, TX, Matthew Gambino (Laura) of Abington, PA and Betty Cox (Adam) of Kempner, TX.; his grandchildren, Luca, Michael, DeAnna, Courtney and Brilee; his sibling Rocci Gambino (Wanda) of Hatfield, PA.; his close friend Jim Carroll (Louise) of Ambler, PA; and his nieces and nephews, James Ferla (Janet) of Pittsburgh, PA, Jeff Ferla (Betsy) of Raleigh, NC, Sam Girondo of Ambler, PA, Suzanne Gambino of Ambler, PA and Angel Girondo of Ambler, PA..

“I was lucky to call Gambi my grandfather. As a child I remember how intricate he and my grandmom were in our development. He was a hard worker/provider, a great father and a staple in the Ambler Community. Looking back on some of the stories I hold dear. I still remember when I got married I met my grandparents at the Ferry. My grandpop was the first one to give me a hug. He said the 3 words every grandson wants to here "Where's the Booze". My youngest middle name is Gambi. Live on Legend”

“I am so sorry to hear of Mr. Franks passing. He was a critical part of my son Matthew Keane's "boogers" childhood. He and Mrs. Ginny were his caregivers for years. Mr. Frank was the kindest man. He had a huge heart. He also was a good buddy with my husband Jeff Keane. They always hung out at Tony's garage. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.
