She was predeceased by: her parents, James Nelson and Patricia Beatrice Downing; and her children, Linda Daywalt and William McGarvey. She is survived by: her son Thomas R. McGarvey of Cary, NC; her brother Michael W Sellers (Rita) of Millersville; and her grandchildren, Kristen, Tommy, Gavin McGarvey, George Daywalt (Taylor) of Pottsgrove and Jillian Wanczyk (Joseph) of Eagleville. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren.
