He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Miller and Waide; his stepmother Elizabeth Miller; his wife Dorothy "Jeanne" Johnson Miller; his grandson Matthew Gribble; his brother Norman Miller; and his sons-in-law, Leslie B. Gribble and Dave A. Sullenberger.

He is survived by: his children, Waide Miller (Sue) of Mt. Pleasant, Lynne Gribble of Scottdale and Dianne Sullenberger of Mt. Pleasant; his grandchildren, Teri Schanck, Sean Gribble and Lissa Ladowitz; and his great grandchildren, Lille, Paige, Kayla and Kaleb.
