It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Grace Mucci (Alverda, Pennsylvania), born in Mentcle, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 14, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Rizzo and Rose Rizzo (Presto); her husband Carl Mario Mucci; and her siblings, Joseph, Anthony, Mario, James Rizzo, Frances Higgins and Judy Bassett.
She is survived by: her children, Laura Valazak (William) of Indiana, Carla Powe (Carl) and Joseph Mucci (Linda) of Thornton, CO.; her grandchildren, Michael Valazak (Sarah), Thomas Valazak, Nico Mucci and Katie Mucci; her great grandchild Henry Carl Valazak; and her siblings, John Rizzo, Erma Somogyi, Helen Shilling and Louise Moore. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
