She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Kline and Effie Kline (Way); and her former husband Roy Fetterman. She is survived by: her husband Dr. James E. Barefoot.

Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Nancy L. Barefoot to the Bedford Chapter of Daughters of American Revolution (DAR).
