She was predeceased by: her husband Dennis E. Hillegass; her mother-in-law Annette Tew; and her stepfather-in-law Tom Tew. She is survived by: her parents, Franklin Layton and Violet Layton (Carson) of Alum Bank; her children, William Hillegass of Alum Bank, Shawn Layton of Osterburg and Kristen Arcement (Hillegass); her siblings, Chris (Bill Pearcy) of Buffalo Mills and Don Layton of Osterburg; and her grandchildren, June and Hank Layton.
