He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur S. Claycomb and Alverta R. Claycomb (Wolford); his grandchildren, Nicole E. Knisely and Erin N. Claycomb; and his siblings, Anna, Francis, Betty, Pearl, Ernest, Arthur, Vernon, Donald and Wayne.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Claycomb (Miller); his children, Amy L. Lamburn (Tony), Barry I. Claycomb Jr. (Tina), Rebecca S. Knisely (James) and Katlyn M. Claycomb; his sisters, Wanda Burke and Phyllis Putt; and his friend Rickie Wright. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
