It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Sonya Stein of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 2, 2023, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul Ray and Esther Ray (Cartwright); and her sister Billie Lou Shaneyfelt. She is survived by: her children, Esther Packard (Lee), Deborah Plowman (Randal), Melinda Croft, Michele Stein (Andrew Brantner), Lee Stein and Richard Stein; and her grandchildren, Lee Allen, Heather, Amber, Angela, Gavin, Michael, Christina, Andrea, Jonathan, Skyler, Nicholas and Jade. She is also survived by numerous great grandchildren; a great-great grandson; and numerous nieces and nephews.
