With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Shirley Ann Burk (Altoona, Pennsylvania), born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 21, 2023 at the age of 81. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry R. Deem and Mary Deem (Wertz); and her siblings, Robert Deem and Connie Cronemiller. She is survived by: her husband Charles R. Burk; her daughter Maryann Burk (Charles Cook); her grandparent De-Charles Cook; her siblings, Donna Brawley (Don) and Gary Deem (Margie); and her sister-in-law Bonnie Deem. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
If friends so desire memorial contributions may be made in memory of Shirley to the Hopewell Senior Citizens Center or the Lakemont Volunteer Fire Company.
