He was predeceased by: his parents, William Henry, Sr. and Mary Margaret Kauffman (Halton); his wife Connie Jane; his son Stephen R Kauffman; and his great grandchild Nicholas R Layne.
He is survived by: his daughter Sherry Pritchert of Fredericksburg, VA; his grandchildren, Justin Kauffman (Tammy), Ian Thomas (Diana) and Brittany Layne (Michael); his great grandchildren, Oktober, Gage, Ashton, Finn, Aslan, Amberleigh, Brooklynn, Jayden, James, Ellie, Vincent, Porter, Harvey, Savannah and Deliliah; his siblings-in-law, Harry Yeager and Sally Yeager; and his niece Lisa Berrier. He is also survived by caretaker for him, amongst many other nieces and nephews.
