He was predeceased by: his parents, Marvin B. Ferguson and Emma G. Ferguson (Geisler). He is survived by: his wife Linda L. Murphy; his children, David Ferguson (Kathy) of Lafayette, IN, Lori Baker (Rusty) of Duncansville, Tracey Wilson (Bob) of Hollidaysburg and Gary Ferguson of Altoona; his grandchildren, Blair Ferguson, Erin Ferguson, Jay Meadows, Dale Dobbins, Zachery Dobbins, Tyler Ferguson, Reagan Ferguson and Alec Ferguson; his great grandchildren, Jay Meadows, IV, Luke Meadows, Odin Dobbins, Anna Dobbins, Aubree Dobbins and Nolan Dobbins; and his siblings, Howard R. Ferguson, Karen Neely and Larry Ferguson.

Visitation was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A memorial service was held on Sunday, February 2nd 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
