Richard E. Miner Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard E. Miner of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on April 15, 2025 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Wesley and Esther Grace Miner (Sell); and his brothers, William and David Miner. He is survived by: his wife Mary; his daughter Rebecca Bouchard (Matthew) of Duncansville; his grandsons, Aidan Bouchard (Kristen) of Boalsburg and Garrett Bouchard; his sisters, Mary Catherine Bickel and Esther Juanita Lee; and his sister-in-law Patricia Ann Strobel. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 24th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home (719 N 4th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service will be held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Asbury United Methodist Church, 107 Asbury Lane, Altoona, PA 16601 or to Family Hospice, 20 Sheraton Drive, Altoona, PA 16601.
