It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Regis S. McCloskey of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Gallitzin, Pennsylvania, who passed away on September 29, 2024, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Regis McCloskey and Ann McCloskey (Stitko); his wife Rita DeCarlo; and his siblings, Daniel, Ronald and Shiela Hall.
He is survived by: his children, Joan Banks, Regis Jr. (Christine) of Altoona, David (Gloria) of Altoona, Sam (Wendy) of Altoona and Steve (Nicole) of Altoona; and his siblings, Jack (Ingrid), Richard, Robert, James (Margaret), Dorsey Kupetz, Donna Smithbauer, Cindy Petyak (James), Patty Guyer, Holly Carper (Ed) and Georgette Arthur (Ken). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Benevolent Fund at the Cathedral of the Blessed Sacrament.
