He was predeceased by: his parents, Sabato Covino and Rose Covino (Pinto); and his siblings, Minnie Iavasile, Josephine Ciaverella, Alfonse Covino, George, Nick, Carl and Lou Maria.
He is survived by: his sister Christine Raia. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Santella Funeral Home (1106 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Mount Carmel Catholic Church (Calvary Cemetery) (806 11th St, Altoona, PA 16602).
