With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Phyllis J. Rhodes of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 5, 2025 at the age of 78. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the sacred silence of farewell, Phyllis is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Phyllis' spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert E. Parson and Virginia E. Parson (Shope). She is survived by: her sons, Patrick P. Garman (Sally) of Altoona and Bryon D. Garman of Altoona; her grandchildren, Christine Dively (Charles), Shawn Garman (Megan) and Kelsea Garman (Allen); and her brothers, Robert (Linda) and Ronald Parson. She is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
