She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles L. Gunsalus and Nellie M. Gunsalus (Wray); her husband Sheldon D. Knouse; her son Stephen Kent; and her sisters, Mardell Gunsalus and Sue Ann Reading.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Mark (Dana), S. Dwight II and Lew Ann; her daughter-in-law Wendy Knouse of Texas; and her granddaughters, Ashley Nicole Culverhouse (Joe), Elizabeth Ann Winquist (Matthew) and Emily Joy Wiest (Scott). She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home (719 N 4th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home, Inc. (719 N 4th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601).
