Martin J. Lechner Sr. Obituary
We are sad to announce that on April 11, 2025, at the age of 71, Martin J. Lechner Sr. of Altoona, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, George Lechner and Teresa Lechner (Brumm); and his brother George Lechner. He is survived by: his spouse Lisa-Marie Hesser; his children, Martin J. Lechner, Jr. (Sara) of Greensboro, NC and Teresa-Marie Thomas (Justin) of Gallitzin; his grandchildren, Calvin, Willa, Nora and Wren; his siblings, Bill Lechner (Debbie) of Altoona, Bob Lechner (Shelly) of Altoona and LouAnn Stambaugh of Altoona; and his siblings-in-law, Victoria Hesser and Lawrence Hesser. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and good neighbors.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Stevens Memorial Chapel (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
