Marie (Mattiello) Tremel Obituary
We are sad to announce that on January 21, 2025, at the age of 94, Marie (Mattiello) Tremel of Altoona, Pennsylvania passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Marie (Mattiello) Tremel to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Aniello Mattiello and Marie Mattiello (Madaio); her husband William L. Tremel of Brigid's Catholic Church; and her siblings, Anthony, Dominic, Lucian, John, Carmine Mattiello, Marion Destefano, Christine Eckenrode, Elizabeth Mattiello, Lucille George and Mary Louis.
She is survived by: her daughter Catherine Ferrero (Joseph) of Cheswick. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, January 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Stevens Mortuary, Inc. (1421 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral Mass was held on Monday, January 27th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the St. Therese of the Child Jesus Catholic Church (411 Wopsononock Ave, Altoona, PA 16601).
