With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Maria E. McGeary of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, who passed away on October 8, 2023 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Maria E. McGeary to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Anthony Sortino and Jackie Sortino (Miller); her husband Kenneth McGeary; her daughter Stacey Carothers; and her brother Albert Sortino.

She is survived by: her children, DeannaLynn Reigh (Jeff), Justine Contreras (Jeff) and Boyd Schilling (Jessie); her son-in-law Jim Carothers; and her sister Marian Kempa. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
