Margaret Corinne Longenecker Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret Corinne Longenecker of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on November 13, 2024, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Maurice Raymond and Caroline Mae Igou (Noye); her son Jamie Stanton Longenecker; her son-in-law Michael Shevenock; and her brother Robert Igou.
She is survived by: her husband Terry L. Longenecker; her daughters, Terri L. Shevenock of Hollidaysburg and Corinna J. Schmidt (Randall) of Evans, GA; her daughter-in-law Debra Longenecker of Hollidaysburg; her grandchildren, Jeffrey Horton, Eden Shevenock, Amber Longenecker, Briena Longenecker, Jacob Longenecker, Trevor Schmidt and Eva Schmidt; and her siblings, Joyce Everett (Robert) of South Carolina, Mary Ann Friedman (Richard) of North Carolina and James Igou (Julie) of Blandburg.
Viewing was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations in memory of Peggy please be made to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 East Pleasant Valley Boulevard, Altoona, PA 16602.
