With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Loretta Carr of Altoona, Pennsylvania, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. Loretta left this world on September 22, 2024 at the age of 80, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Stanley Phillip Carr and Mamie Melvy Carr (Brown); and her siblings, Rosetta "Rosie" Carr and Eugene Brawley. She is survived by: her children, Jamie Butler, Timmie Brown (Karl) and David Thomas (Kirsten); her grandchildren, Darius Brown, Jaden Brown and Taylor Thomas; and her siblings, Jacqueline Lightfoot, Rodney Howling, Brenda Howling, Deborah Coleman, Sylvia Carr, Charlene Carr and Stanley Carr Jr..
Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 29th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM and on Monday, September 30th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church (2121 5th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
