She was predeceased by: her parents, William Kuny and Charlotte Kuny (Deprez); her children, Brenda and Brian; her siblings, Bill Kuny, John Brubaker and Janice Stanley; and her grandson Dustin Shipe.

She is survived by: her husband David A. Howard; her sons, Larry Shipe and Gary O'Shell; and her siblings, Karen Carp and Ronald Kuny. She is also survived by 15 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren.
