It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joynella Mae Benn of Altoona, Pennsylvania, born in Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on January 16, 2025, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Marshall E. Hamer and Catherine (Johnson); and her husband James D. Benn, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Brian D. Benn (Lori) of Goldsboro, NC, Barry J. Benn (Teresa) of Altoona and Holly J. Kemper (Rob Bartley) of Altoona; her grandchildren, Brandon, Sierra, Carley, Shaylee, Lauren, Alyssa, Anthony and Justin; and her sister-in-law Judy Werkmeister. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren.
