He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin F. Jr. and Mary P. Trout (Schell). He is survived by: his wife Margaret K. "Peggy" Benton; his son Dr. Colin J. Trout (Kailey); his stepgrandson Jackson Thiel; and his close friends, Tony and Phyllis Russo.
