John E. Imler Obituary

We are sad to announce that on November 27, 2023, at the age of 72, John E. Imler of Altoona, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Donald Imler and Mary Imler of Altoona; his wife Shirley Ann Imler (Welshans) of Altoona; his children, John Evan Imler III (Amy) of Altoona, Brian S. Imler (Peggy) of Fredericksburg, VA and Jennifer Oliver (Austin) of Ankeny, IA.; his grandchildren, Kristen, Brandon, John, Austin, Hannah, Holly, Zoe, Emilee, Maverick, Thaddeus, Charlotte, Carter, Bennett, Carson and Mia; and his siblings, Karen Wilson (Randy), Donald Imler (Charlene), William Imler (April) and James Imler (Paula). He was also cherished by nieces, nephews and other extended family and friends.
