We are sad to announce that on January 17, 2025, at the age of 79, Jo Anne Fletcher of Altoona, Pennsylvania passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Raymond and Charlotte Mae Fletcher (Erb); and her brother Thomas Fletcher. She is survived by: her daughters, Brenda Yarnell of Duncansville, Sandy Watters (Robert) of Altoona and Barbara Pfiester (Terry) of Paris, TX; her grandchildren, Nicole, Zachary, Ashley, Robbie and Bryan; her great grandchildren, Elijah, Abigail and Lillian; her sisters, Diane Sweed (Robert) of Altoona, Melody Chencharick (Dennis) and Charlotte Smith (Galen) of Huntingdon; and her pet Abby. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at 1001 S 1st St, Altoona, PA 16602. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 23rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Her vibrant spirit illuminated the lives around her as she actively participated in the church community, bringing joy to countless gatherings through her involvement in plays and her heartfelt contributions to meal planning.
