She was predeceased by: her parents, Harold Stong and Marie Stong (Stuempfle); and her sister Dorothy Sands. She is survived by: her husband Albert Shaffer; her sons, William Shaffer (Diana) of Altoona, PA and David Shaffer (Gwen Vredevoogd) of Marshall, VA; her grandchildren, Kristen Fedeli (Kristopher) of Mars, PA, Stephen Shaffer (Jenna) of Canonsburg, PA, Camila Escobar of Silver Spring, MD and Madeline Lambelet of Livingston Manor, NY.; her great grandchildren, Drew, Lucas, Maya, Gianna and Nova; and her pet Casey.
