Janet M. Lego Obituary

Though Janet may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janet touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, James Porta and Marian Porta (Musselman); and her husband Fay W. Lego. She is survived by: her children, Robert Hammel of Hollidaysburg, Richard Hammel of Altoona, Cheryl Lafferty (David) of Hollidaysburg and Cynde Smith (Jeff) of Florida; and her brothers, John Porta of Altoona and Jeff Porta of Altoona. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
The family suggests, contributions be made in memory of Janet to the Alzheimer's Association at 2835 E. Carson St. Suite 200, Pittsburgh, PA 15203.
