He was predeceased by: his parents, James Stanley and Elda L. Kobel (Stehley). He is survived by: his wife Ella D. Luke; his daughter Dawn N. Kobel; his son-in-law Adam Yoffe of Chicago, IL; and his siblings, Twila Perkins of Clearfield, Linda Smith of Altoona, Kevin Kobel of Altoona and Rodney Kobel of Altoona. He is also survived by four sister-in-law.
