He was predeceased by: his parents, George F. Heaton and Lillian P. Heaton (Kelly); and his daughter Susan E. Heaton. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis R. Todd; his daughters, Charlotte Douglas of Tampa, FL and Carolyn Miller (Michael) of Kennett Square, PA; his grandson Alexander Miller; and his siblings, Linda Green of Bonita Springs, FL and Harold Heaton of Ligonier, Indiana..
Visitation was held on Monday, December 16th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mauk & Yates Funeral Home (719 N 4th Ave, Altoona, PA 16601). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 17th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
