Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved George Dean Barry of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away at the age of 85, on February 2, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Barry and Leona Barry (Filer); his wife Margaret A. Ciaverella; and his great grandchild Alana Barry. He is survived by: his children, Teresa Kramer (Wayne) of Hanover and James Barry (Karen) of Altoona; his grandchildren, Wayne Kramer III, Dena Barry, Winzor Kramer, James Barry Jr., Wyatt Kramer and Wade Kramer; and his great grandchild Emma Barry.
Visitation was held on Thursday, February 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Santella Funeral Home (1106 8th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 7th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, please make donations in memory of George to the Disabled American Veterans Chapter 34; or to Boy Scouts Troop 49 or 15.
