With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Durwin E. Latchford of Altoona, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 13, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Durwin has departed this earthly realm, his legacy endures — a legacy of love that will continue to illuminate the lives of family and friends in the darkest of hours. May his spirit soar on wings of eternal peace, forever cherished in the tender embrace of memory.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Richard Wesley and Violet Priscilla Latchford (Weld); and his brother Richard Latchford (Barbara). He is survived by: his wife Ginny; his nephew Wesley Latchford (Robin) of Virginia Beach; his great-nieces, Margaret and Catherine; and his niece Lynette Latchford.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home, Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, December 18th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Myers-Somers Funeral Home Inc. (501 N 6th Ave, Altoona, PA 16602).
