Donald R. Wiser Jr. Obituary

Donald R. Wiser Jr., 55, of Altoona, passed away Monday. He was born in Roaring Spring, son of Beverly (Oakes) McCaulley and the late Donald R. Wiser Sr.

Surviving are two daughters: Renee Thorpe (Justin) and Autumn Wiser; two sons: Reo Wiser (Ashley) and Brandon Wiser; ten grandchildren; his mother; three sisters: Carrie Wiser-Borosky (Sean), Tammy Williams (Patrick), and Amber Dao (Kygan); two brothers: Robert and Michael Wiser; a stepson, Tyler Houck; and many aunts and cousins.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Susan Ann Wiser; and grandparents: Donald and Virginia Wiser and George and Beverly Oakes.

Donald enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Friends will be received from 3 to 5pm Thursday October 19, 2023, at Sorge Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., Hollidaysburg, where a memorial service will immediately follow at 5pm.

Private interment at Fairview Cemetery, Martinsburg.
